Zeolite
 
Zeolites, mainly the natural clinoptilolite mineral, are used in agriculture for adjusting the composition of the soil, providing a slow release of potassium, enrich them with Mn, Mg, Fe, As, Co, and reduce leaching of nitrogen. They increase the efficiency of granular fertilizers and reduces clumping them. In orchards are used for lowering nitrate content in fruits and for increasing yields. They are used as water moderators, which absorb water to 55% of their onw weight, then slowly release the water under the root of the plats. So the plants are watered evenly and the risk of decay is seriously reduced. If previously has been used ammonium nitrate to fertilize the soil, the zeolite can do the same job, releasing nitrogen.
With the use of zeolite in mixed fertilizers the risk of droughting the soil on cultivated crops is reduced . Thanks to its properties, zeolite is one of the most precious ingredients for nutrition and maintain the soil in good condition.

1. MIXED FERTILIZER NP 27:9 + 1.5% Zn  it is suitable for well preserved with potassium soils with a slight deficiency of micronutrients. Depending on the crops it is used for basic fertilization and for vegetation feeding.
